Android 8.1 Oreo, after going through beta phase, has has now been started rolling out publicly to Nokia 8 devices. This is a stable release of the latest Android software for Nokia 8 as announced by Juho Sarvikas over twitter.
HMD has kept the software under beta phase for just over a couple of weeks, after that the Nokia 8 customers will be able to get the Android 8.1 Oreo on their devices sooner than later via OTA update.
The software update is already being received on devices bought in Pakistan with the model number TA-1004. There other regions as well where the customers have reported as receiving the update. Those include Malaysia, India, UK and several other regions.
For seekers, the update contains the latest security patch of February 2018. While the other devices including Nokia 6 has also received the February security patch but it’s only the Nokia 8 yet has received the latest 8.1 Oreo software update.

Android 8.1 Oreo Software Features:
Android 8.1, which sure has the core from 8.0, brings some really nice looking changes user interfaces. The software is improved on various grounds including battery performance. Improved notifications are also a part of the update. UI is pretty much obvious to have updates, specially including the power menu. The settings interface has been changed with more grouping.
When the 8.1 Oreo will be available for other devices?
