HMD Global has been quickly pushing updates to the existing Nokia devices as it’s getting ready to unveil new devices in MWC 2018. While Nokia 2, Nokia 3 and Nokia 8 had already received the latest software update with February security patch level, Nokia 6 becomes the next.
This update doesn’t bring any special improvements or additions to the existing features. It’s still the base Android 8.0 Oreo software that in fact remains on the same software build with only a minor postfix “A” added to version. Now it’s v5.22A jumped from the previous v5.220.

How to Update Nokia 6to Android 8 Oreo?
If you have a Nokia 6 smartphone, you don’t need to do anything to get the software update. It’s an over-the-air (OTA) update roll-out that will reach you automatically if you are connected. However, you can go through Settings > System > System Update and tap “check for update”. Do keep in mind that not everyone of you may receive the update as the roll-out is based on phases. So you may need to wait for a while before it’s available to your device.
